The PADI IDC Program has two levels, you have the option to take level 1 first and resume training on a later date or go all the way to become an Open Water Scuba Instructor.

Level 1 The Assistant Instructor Course (min. 3 days)

The candidates are introduced to the nuts and bolts of teaching Scuba Diving, the PADI way.

In this "How to Teach" course, AI Candidates are introduced to the Art of Teaching Scuba in the Classroom, Pool or Confined Water and in the Open Water.

Level 2 The Open Water Scuba Instructor Program (min. 4 days)

The OWSI Program is where the Candidates train  to teach  PADI Courses from Open Water to Divemaster.

Finishing the OWSI program allows the candidate to proceed to the Instructor Exams (IE)

Instructor Candidates are required to pass the IE to be able to teach PADI Courses.

Passing the IE is easy, the exams will be focused on areas that the candidate are prepared for during the Divemaster Course and the IDC.

Ross’ IDC Programs includes trial IE’s where candidates will have the feel of how to go through the actual IE.

* Our IDC's usually last 12 days, even longer  to give way to IE Prep
